I regret to say that there is no further information about this clip, except that it seems to be an actual performance by a Russian ballet company. Supernumeraries, or extras - like the tiger - are frequently employed by ballet and opera companies and aren't given much instruction other than to stand in the back. JUST STAND THERE.
Well, there is SOME further information: They are performing the Arabian Dance from Tchaikovsky's NUTCRACKER. Perhaps in some places, at holiday time, it's traditional to allow a bit of cutting up now and then during this most familiar work.

Of course it's bleedin' NUTCRACKER. I meant there's no info about the situation. The guy certainly has the moves. I just hope the soloists were warned.
